I'm not a huge review guy but I needed to write one about JC Solar. We just moved to Thousand Oaks and have a small swimming pool with pool solar and had a company come out and tell us that the solar cells were no longer any good and the entire system had to be replaced at a cost of about $7,000. At the recommendation of our pool guy we called JC Solar for a second opinion. Their friendly rep came out, took one look at our system, and told us that there is absolutely no reason we need to replace anything. That was a few months ago and since then we have been enjoying our pool that has been heated by the solar panels that work perfectly well. All I can say is, JC Solar has a customer for life. It's hard to find honest contractors and when you find one as honest as this company, you don't look anywhere else. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks JC Solar crew and keep up the rock star work!

JC Solar was wonderful! We weren't sure if we wanted to put a solar heater on our roof as we were planning to use the best (South) side of the roof for electrical solar panels, but we are SO GLAD WE DID!!

Nancy and team helped us figure out the best placement and number of panels needed, now we are swimming in our pool in March as the temp is in the 80s! Absolutely love it!

JC Solar gave us an excellent price and installation crew was terrific! We highly recommend JC Solar! We can now enjoy our pool at least 1/2 year rather than 3 months in the summer.

Jc Solar installed the solar system about 4 yrs ago at my house. Since then my family has been able to use the pool more comfortably starting usually late April in to early October. Definitely recommend solar panel heating for the pool, for many reasons but mostly bc of cost to heat my pool with gas would be outrages.

The install process: wow! Completely professional and above and beyond service. They explained to me how they will have to dig, install pipes, go around my yard (bc of where my pool and filter/pump system is) and then attach to the roof. Immediately I was hesitant bc I don't want pipes just all over the place, for cosmetic reasons. Looking through the pictures I've posted you can see the pipes are buried/hid except where they can't be, also painted to the best of their ability to match my wall/floor, and house. I honestly feel like they installed the system as if they were installing it in their own house, and how they'd like it done. This professionalism goes above and beyond. Also it was completed with in a day, and working before they left.

Since the install my pump went out (it was old and should've been replaced sooner but I let it die first) I called JC for their recommendation on which pump would would be ideal for optimal solar function. For any issue or concern I've called I've been treated with respect and compassion. Highly recommend!!!

Our Homeowners Association had JC Solar upgrade the Solar heating system for our Clubhouse Pool in 2020 and we have been extremely happy with the results.

But what prompted this review is the follow-up service JC Solar has provided: when we needed someone to come talk to a group of homeowners about how the system works, Nancy Suarez sent Mike to our location on a date and time convenient for us. Mike was awesome!

He gave a thorough overview of how the solar heating system works then patiently answered our questions before checking the system to make sure everything is continuing to work properly.

JC Solar recently installed a system for my pool. Prior to providing a quote, they gave very helpful, detailed and honest input about what would be needed and what results I'm likely to get. I went ahead with it and their install was finished in 1 day and very well done. They configured all the controls for it and showed me how to use it. We had a small misunderstanding about location of a couple panels and they quickly modified it at no charge. I'm very pleased with the result and highly recommend them. Plus they are really nice people to work with!
